There’s nothing better than showing up to a wedding and already knowing some of the guests. I’ve photographed several of Alex and Tim’s friends over the years, so being asked to capture their day was a full-circle moment. Plus, I love a good Cle Elum wedding moment. We already had the best time during their Twin Sisters Rock engagement session, so I knew the wedding would be just as meaningful and beautiful.

A Slow Morning & First Look Moments
While the guys were outside throwing back shots (shoutout to the toddler with the juice box keeping it balanced), Alex was inside with mom and sister helping her into the dreamiest satin gown with a slit and a veil. Also, a moment for those Badgley Mischka PEARL heels. Thank you. The details were classic and elegant. Their first look took place in the middle of a quiet pine grove just outside town. It was grounding, calm, and real.

Ceremony, Reception, & Downtown Cle Elum Wedding Portraits
Their ceremony, with only about 30 guests, felt like being wrapped in a warm group hug. The space was modern and simple, with warm wood accents.
Afterward, we wandered through downtown Cle Elum for golden hour portraits. These two were glowing. It was relaxed and joyful to walk around with them during one of their best days.
Dinner was served at the venue, and the toasts kicked off. I can’t get over the sweet little moments I caught with Alex and her dad throughout the day. They are the sweetest together, and you can just see how much they love and adore each other. Cheers to another beautiful Washington wedding, and I wish Alex and Tim all the best in their adventures together!
